Freshman

You must complete the following requirements to be fully admitted into the college:

    
1. Complete Clinton Application Form

Online Application


2. Pay $25.00 application fee
3. Two(2) letters of recommendation
4. High school transcript showing diploma or GED
5. All transcripts from previous colleges or universities
6. Background  check   (Background Check Form)
7. Complete physical   (Physical Form)
8. Immunization records

The following additional requirements must be completed prior to your arrival to campus:

    1. Pay non-refundable Registration Fee of $500.00 (Can be paid during student orientation or early if desired)
    2. A non-refundable room reservation fee of $250.00/semester are due before or during registration.  Room reservation fees will be used to reserve the student’s dormitory space.
    3. Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (FAFSA)
    4. Copies of parent's and student's income tax transcript
    5. Proof of insurance
    6. Students who seek accommodation for disabilities should complete and submit the following form:   Disabilities Accommodation Form
    7. ontact the Office of Admissions to schedule placement testing.    A practice test can be found here:  Asset Practice Test

    International Students

    International applicants are required to submit the following materials before an admission decision is made and an I-20 form issued:

      1. A completed application for admission, including application fees; 
      2. An official transcript from any high school, college, or university attended
      3. Evidence of proficiency in English
      4. A statement indicating that the applicant’s financial resources will enable the student to meet United States study costs
      5. One year of tuition and fees in advance
      6. A health certificate
        Clinton College does not offer financial aid for international students. I-20 form (Certificate of Eligibility is not issued until the applicant has been accepted by the Office of Admissions and submitted a financial statement indicating how fees will be paid while attending Clinton College.

        The U.S. Department of Homeland Security rules governing non-immigrant “F-1” foreign students require that all persons in this category pursue a full course of study. This means that students must register for a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours. Any modification of this requirement that results in a course load of less than this minimum must be authorized by the Registrar. Failure to observe these requirements will cause students to be ineligible to receive the I-20 form to support their non-immigrant status.

        Prior to admission, all international students must furnish a copy of his/her background record even if a criminal history does not exist.
